Authoritarian state

So, it appears that the Labour party are falling apart. Arguments and sackings for speaking out against large expenditures. Article in WOL here. Combined with the most ridiculously selfish and most disrespectful policy support I have ever witnessed from the member for education. In a nation that prides itself on its tolerance, the governing party is aiming to eradicate English speaking monoglots with the assumption that learning another language is some sort of panacea for all of the ills of the Welsh education system.

Homogenous Welsh people are the ORDER of the day as the fanatical language supporters apply pressure to the Labour party.

Who on earth will consider supporting such a rabble?

The government of Wales is a laughing stock. The policies for education have become incredulous and demeaning all at the same time. The Labour (Welsh) Baccalaureate is singularly the most disgraceful piece of paper one could own. A pointless journey into endorsing the politics of hate, envy and nationalism.

Still it makes me laugh out loud to see the infighting begin and the descent into left wing politics. The party of hypocrisy, coercion and failure. GET LABOUR OUT.

Council Mergers

Why is this taking so long? I know, because politicians are like turkeys and reducing the number of councils is like Christmas. Turkeys would not vote for Christmas would they?

Liebour, Labour can't reduce the number of ways to socially engineer their utopian grand scale Y Fro Cymraeg so they are seriously dragging their heels.

Conservative won't challenge the status quo for fear of losing ground, politically speaking, losing votes, losing followers, well just losing in general really.

Liberals are just middle of the road, indecisive drones.

That other party of Wales is led by a once member of the international socialist movement who claims to not campaign on the party's core value! How on earth can she be trusted?

The only way to reduce councils is to give a free vote, a referendum, claims Janet Finch-Saunders. Yet, once again what council employee is going to vote for their own demise? Unless, like the armed forces, they will not be allowed to vote!!

A place the size of Wales, 3,000,000 does not need 22 councils.

Auckland, 1,500,000 people has one council - just saying.

There are 7 preserved counties. There are a 7 health boards. 7 is a lucky number.

Kezia Dugdale

You do realise that Wales is copying the Scottish model and has been advised by the same guy that advised Scotland's curriculum review, Professor Graham Donaldson.

You do realise that 60% of teachers do not support Welsh Liebour's education policies.

Education is about creating opportunities for all not closing achievement gaps. Achievement is a differentiated measure, unless, of course, we are all exactly the same drones only good enough to be educated to sustain current political social engineering.

In essence Welsh 'Liebour' are bleating that they are good at homogenising Welsh children by lowering standards (Leighton Andrews lowered standards to ensure more people passed exams).

Wales is way off delivering a truly 'fair' curriculum, it is all about indoctrination and coercion to create a generation of drones only capable of adoration not innovation.

Failing daily

Education minister left stumped, perplexed and shamefully ill prepared during presentation and scrutiny of consortia effectiveness.

Gareth Evans of the Walesonline reports here talk about resting on Laurels which are built on shifting sands.

Huw Lewis Education minister has proved himself to be inadequate and arrogant, it is time to make sure Labour are voted right out of government

Huw Lewis Education Minister
Cambridge and Oxford back the changes made in Wales he claims in another article! Amazing, I am absolutely amazed that he would say such a thing. What on earth difference does that make? Wales education system is not for the 21st C and hasn't been for some considerable time.

Labour are just holding Welsh students back and I do not see any other party making the changes needed to separate education from politics and make learning for all child centred, real, relevant and purposeful.

This amazing survey is presented by the Walesonline as something that Labour can be proud of. The fact that 60% of teachers DO NOT SUPPORT LABOUR speaks volumes about Wales. 6 in 10 teachers are delivering policies they disagree with!!!

What sort of message is that to be sending kids?

Huw, you and the Labour party need to leave. Stand down and sit in a very dark room to reflect on your political futures. If you entered politics to help you have failed. Failing in Wales daily.

Hatred is horrible

Here is evidence of the hate being spread in Wales. This person also extols the virtues of Plaid Cymru. I genuinely feel sorry for such people who feel the need to spread such intolerance. It is disgusting that such people are free to present their perspectives in such a way.

A bilingual anthem for Wales would be vehemently opposed by such haters, yet the world has moved on and tolerance and diversity is celebrated elsewhere except in some parts of Wales.

Now these bigots would have their reasons, but for a nation like South Africa to confront and deal with this issue and deal with it successfully is inspirational. Rhos Colin is not one of those inspirational people. His world is full of resentment and disappointment.

Wales has been anglicised and so has much of the world. Some claim this is a bad thing, others not so. Many people living in Wales can celebrate the bygone days of history WITHOUT feeling the need to reinstate the past. Communities come and go, it is not the responsibility of government to maintain all communities especially when those communities are not economically viable.

However, people like Rhos can not be left unchallenged and left to fanaticise another generation of Welsh people.

A bilingual anthem is inexorable.

80 Minute Welsh

I am an 80 minute Welsh man all day everyday. That makes me a Welsh man all day every day.

Today I yelled and shouted and stamped my foot. Screamed at decisions made and players who didn't perform, and yelled at those who did.

I beamed when Wales beat England. Not because I hate, but because I love. Not because they were English but because we put a side together that won, against all the odds.

Today we scraped past Fiji - it was enough for today, will it be enough in the end?

After all if you saw England, Wales, Australia and Fiji in the semi-finals of the world cup you wouldn't be surprised; well maybe just a little

80 minutes all day everyday, but it takes a lifetime to perform for those 80.
